Antonia is a senior HR leader in HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) where she has been Head of Employee Engagement and Deputy Director of Organisation Capability and is currently supporting employees through the largest reform of the justice system in history. Awarded the UK’s Occupational Psychology 2017 Practitioner of the Year award, Antonia draws on her 15 years as an Occupational Psychologist to help implement and embed large scale change programmes across the business landscape.
Antonia is passionate about the fundamental need for meaningful work relationships as a key driver of successful business outcomes. This involves giving employees a voice in shaping their experience at work and supporting leaders at all levels to create space for employees to contribute.
As a highly experienced HR Leader having worked in three of the ‘big five’ government departments whilst they were undergoing major organisational transformations, Antonia’s expertise lies in culture change, leadership and talent development, engagement, inclusion, and well-being. She champions the value and insight that Occupational Psychologists can bring to organisations and is a great example of where Psychology and HR go hand in hand.
So, what will Antonia be speaking about?
In 2016, HMCTS launched a once in a generation transformation programme of its services. Antonia will be talking about these changes, describing the scale of the transformation challenge, the strategic approach to employee engagement, and explore the ‘One Conversation’ initiative – a conversation-based initiative to support employees through the reform programme. Antonia will discuss the challenges and obstacles that she has faced when working on large-scale public sector transformation projects and the lessons learnt so far.
